SnackDot Privacy Policy


Please read our privacy policy carefully before using any of the SnackDot services.

1. How we use your information.

When you register with SnackDot, we collect the personal information you give us such as your email address and your credit card information. Your credit card information is stored securely using Stripe, our transaction processor. Each time you make a purchase through a SnackDot vendor, they will be able to see your email address and the amount of your purchase.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about product updates and other pertinent news. If you permit, you may also receive emails from SnackDot vendors you have visited. If you ever receive undesired or unpermitted messages from SnackDot vendors please notify us so we can look into the issue.

2. Consent.

When you provide us with personal information to create your account or complete a transaction, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

3. Withdrawal of consent.

5. Payment processing.

All payments are processed securely using Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and has in turn been certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the most stringent level of certification available. 6. Third party services.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

7. Security.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. When we store your password, we hash it so that it cannot be recovered by us and therefore any password reset will require the selection of a new password. We do not store your credit card information on SnackDot servers. We only retain enough information to help you identify a card on file (card type, last four digits, and expiration date).

8. Cookies.

When using our website, we will store cookies that help us track your session to give you a better user experience. This is common practice among web applications.

9. Age of consent.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If SnackDot is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide service to you.
